About this role
<p>Ensure proper planning and scheduling of activities on projects to ensure timely completion</p> <p>Prioritising tasks relating to preventive maintenance and issues resolution with view to ensuring continuity of services.</p> <p>Carry out system and technology related upgrades as per guidelines</p> <p>Communicate maintenance and faults related issues with relevant parties to ensure resolution in an optimal manner.</p> <p>Ensure that all documentation related to system outage rectification and maintenance is recorded and documented as per guidelines for any future use or reference.</p> <p>The job holder’s responsibility is to maintain the services of Sheikh Zayed Centre and remote sites whilst on duty. All technical problems must be resolved, with the support of technicians, to ensure proper functioning of all CNS equipment.</p> <p>The job holder will be required to work in shifts as per the shift roster.</p> <p>During shifts the job holder is required to take independent decisions in line with CNS procedures.</p> <p>Engineers completing day duties report to the HCNSE.</p> <p>Degree in a relevant technical discipline; Diploma in a relevant technical discipline or recognised apprenticeship</p> <p>Good understanding of ATC Operations.</p> <p>Ability to detect probable fault locations in electronic equipment by systematic analysis of symptoms, diagnostic routines and bite results.</p> <p>At least 6 years’ experience in related electronic and engineering field, preferably with 3 years experience in ATM field.</p> <p>Aptitude to achieve SZC engineering certification</p> <p>Experience with modern test equipment and ability to read and analyse complex circuit diagrams</p> <p>Ability to read and analyse maintenance log files</p> <p>Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.</p> <p>Radar and SSR theory and experience</p> <p>Data, multiplexing and networking theory and experience</p> <p>Radio theory and experience</p> <p>Workshop practices.</p> <p>IT theory and experience</p>
