<p>Qualitair are currently recruiting for a B1 Licensed Engineer for a permanent role in Luton with a leading FBO and maintenance, repair and operations company. There are 3 roles available with our client with the different shift patterns available detailed below (please indicate which you prefer when applying). All roles are permanent -</p> <p> </p> <p>All have an average of 42 hours per week</p> <p> </p> <p>Option 1: Permanent Days (Monday – Thursday, 08.00 – 17.00, Friday 08.00 – 16.30) </p> <p> </p> <p>Option 2: 4 on 4 off shift pattern (Days, 07.00 – 19.00) - +£1.9k shift allowance</p> <p> </p> <p>Option 3: 4 on 4 off shift pattern (Nights from 1900 to 0700 hours) +£10k shift allowance</p> <p> </p> <p>Reporting to the Base Manager, the role of the B1 Licensed Engineer will be to undertake scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and defect rectification on a range of our client's supported aircraft, including Challenger, Global Express and Hawker Beechcraft.</p> <p> </p> <p>In order to be considered for this role, you will hold a full unrestricted B1 license and be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work, with attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team. Experience of corporate aviation is highly beneficial.</p> <p> </p> <p>Preference will be given to individuals who hold type ratings for Bombardier products - Challenger 300/350 series, Challenger 604/605 and Global Express Series or experience of Hawker 125. Full aircraft type training will be provided as necessary. For each type rating you hold my client will add £1.5k to your salary.</p> <p> </p> <p>You will also be required to work autonomously at times and therefore need to demonstrate initiative, self-sufficiency and competent PC skills.
