<p>Tier 1 company are seeking an experienced Project Leader to manage a team of structures design engineers executing work packages for clients including Bombardier. They will be is responsible for managing permanent staff and contractors and ensuring the quality of work and ensures the project is on time and within schedule. Duties include:<br /> <br /> * Enforce methodologies defined by the customer and company<br /> * Analyze change requests and change notices and determine impacts on the project (implementation plan schedules, 3D model, mass, etc.)<br /> * Participate in the evaluation and deadline specifications schedule<br /> * Follow up tasks and ensure compliance timelines and budgets allocated<br /> * Provide support during pre-project phases, costs/budget and responding to tender requests<br /> * Manage and supervise the design team<br /> * Analysis of project and manage corrective actions to control the timescales and project costs<br /> * Intervene when necessary on the concepts /methods/design and validate the results<br /> * Prepare weekly activity report<br /> * Implement appropriate methodologies and organization to improve efficiency and safety of designs<br /> * Provide ongoing technical support in terms of expertise to design personnel to ensure the results of realized designs (implementation plan schedules, 3D model, mass, etc.)<br /> <br /> You will be Project Leader/Manager with experience of leading aircraft structural design teams ensuring adherence to project technical specifications, timecales and budgets.
