Senior Vice President Business Technology Solutions

<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p> <p>To manage the overall relationships with Emirates Group&nbsp; business stakeholders, establishing an effective and consistent IT customer experience through&nbsp; identifying and anticipating business needs and leading improvements,&nbsp; pro-actively driving innovations and customer focus across all of IT. To contribute to the development of Emirates Group business strategy with IT, develop the business IT strategy and actively contribute to the Emirates Group’s overall IT strategy keeping in mind future growth &nbsp;and technology&nbsp; innovation of the Emirates Group (3-5 years). Ensure delivery of all IT solutions, projects and services to the Emirates Group businesses in a timely and cost effective manner based on defined standards and quality criteria.</p> <p>Be an active member of the IT Executive Management team and as the most senior team member act as deputy to DSVP IT, to lead the IT organisation as a team and contribute to the overall success of IT.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience &nbsp; </strong></p> <ul> <li>Information Technology. Other : 15+ Years</li> <li>Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) :&nbsp;</li> <li>Must have management experience, focussed on leading a range of functions at a senior level in IT; ideally within a customer relations environment.</li> <li>Experience in leading development and delivery of business IT solutions; ideally in the travel &amp; transportation industry is of advantage.</li> <li>Major account experience gained in both multinational and multi-cultural environments would be an added benefit.</li> <li>Business/IS Strategy and planning</li> <li>Technical strategy and planning</li> <li>System development</li> <li>Business Change management</li> <li>Relationship Management</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits:</strong></p> <p>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE.
