About this role
Chinese aircraft manufacturer require an experienced Flight Controls Engineer to work within their development centre in the design and integration of flight control systems for new civil aircraft. You will be working closely with the Chinese engineers and management to ensure successful integration of systems. Duties include: <br /><br />* Develop concepts, design approaches and philosophy with the system partners <br />* Integrate equipment to the aircraft and therefore develop equipment interface to other systems and structure <br />* Develop, validate and verify technical requirements <br />* Review of overall system architecture, control, performance and reliability specifications to meet design intent and certification goals * Review systems installation detail design. <br />* Ensure the design process and the resulting equipment implementation is in line with requirements and standards. <br /><br />You will be a specialist engineer within the field of Flight Controls, with in-depth experience in the design, integration and test of a range of flight control systems and equipment. Specific systems include hydro-mechanical (e.g. primary flight control, pitch trim, spoiler, high lift) as well as fly-by-wire systems. <br /><br />This is an initial 6-12 month contract and they are looking for someone to start from early September 2015 onwards and the client are planning to conduct telephone/skype interviews for short-listed candidates in August. This will be paying a competitive hourly rate (in US Dollars) and mobilisation flights, work permit/visa costs and medical insurance are provided.
