<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>To design, develop and manage an effective dnata Emergency Response Plan (ERP) that will embody a number of complex processes involving people, systems and processes thus ensuring a robust response to a major accident or incident across DXB and DWC airports. Manage the operational planning for exceptional events and during disruptions across dnata functions and maintain business continuity.<br /> <br /> <br /> <strong><u>Job Outline:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop and implement processes in compliance with dnata emergency response manuals, to ensure the highest standards of response in the event of emergencies at DXB and DWC airports.</li> <li>Responsible for maintaining and updating the dnata emergency response manuals for DXB and DWC airports as per Dubai Airports, Gulf Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and IATA Safety Audit for Ground operations ( ISAGO) requirements. Review, approve and test updates in consultation and co-ordination with external stakeholders (such as customer airlines) and internal departments as applicable.</li> <li>Liaise with Dubai Airports(DA) Emergency Planning Committee to plan and conduct emergency response exercises once every 6 months as required by the regulations set by Dubai International Airports (DIA) and GCAA. Recommend and suggest remedial action on non-conformities based on DA emergency response exercises and seek resolution through the Manager Operations Control for continuous improvement.</li> <li>Design, develop and deliver all Emergency Response training programmes within dnata Airport operations, including supplementary emergency response plans to support the specific requirement of contracting airlines and airport authorities, thus achieving a fully effective and co-ordinated response.</li> <li>Develop and deliver an emergency response awareness campaign for dnata staff at DXB and DWC airports by conducting briefings and presentations, if necessary conducting desk top exercises.</li> <li>Responsible for the creation and implementation of a set procedure which would establish a two way flow of forecasted load information with DA Joint Control Room (JCR )in order to ensure all airport stakeholders (Police, Customs & Immigration) are aware of anticipated loads across all passenger terminals.</li> <li>Develop and execute a programme of operational risk assessments to evaluate areas including but not limited to DOCC, load control and Dispatch which may be identified as posing potential business risk and recommend possible solutions to the line department.</li> <li>Design and implement a robust business continuity model to deal with disruptions such as diversions, runway closure and system outage, which will act as a bench mark for planning purposes during operational peaks and emergencies.</li> <li>Drive investigations following operational disruption and liaise with different stakeholders to analyse and develop preventative measures for inclusion in the business continuity model.<br /> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications & Experience </strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>Experience:</u></strong><br /> <br /> Airport Operations.Other : 5+ Years</p> <p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong><br /> <br /> Vocational or Diploma (12+2 or equivalent) :<br /> A recognised contingency response qualification preferred</p> <p><strong><u>Experience:</u></strong></p> <p>Work experience in an airport / airline /transportation /operational supervisor position / capacity Experience in a contingency planning role would be advantageous.</p> <p>In-depth knowledge of the following systems is an advantage: Resource Management Systems Airport Activity Control system Airport communication systems Computer literate with excellent presentation writing ability and training skills<br /> </p> <p><strong>Salary and Benefits</strong></p> <p>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE.
