Airbus Maintenance Control Engineer

<p>Due to one of our clients exciting growth and importance within their area of the aviation industry, Zenon have been tasked with recruiting for an Airbus Maintenance Control Engineer to be based in the UK.</p> <p>The role of the Maintenance Control Engineer is to provide engineering support to the fleet of aircraft by the co-ordination of technical data to enable our client to meet service availability and provide planning support to Line Maintenance this will be performed on shift work and will include night shifts.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Maintain oversight of fleet compliance.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Provide time limited ADD management.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Provide a single communication channel for all Engineering operational departments/bases..<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Co-ordinate efficient and effective AOG support and recovery.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Maintain a computer based electronic shift handover log for the department.&nbsp;<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Liaise/negotiate with Flight Operations on all maintenance activities planned/un-planned and ensure the Operations flight information system is updated with the maintenance requirements.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Utilise SAP and liaise with the Short Term Planner to ensure work orders, work packs, check packs and associated paperwork is issued to the production.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure the aircraft status is communicated to the FOPS department providing information on aircraft availability (serviceable/un-serviceable), location and role equipment status.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Control of aircraft hand over and hand back procedure, from line to base and base to line<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure any unscheduled configuration change requirement, is communicated to the appropriate departments for action.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure any unscheduled ‘fly-away-pack’ requirements are communicated to the relevant departments.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Manage and supervise personnel within their control and on-shift.</p> <p>Essential Experience required:</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;EASA License B1 or B2.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Demonstrable experience in working with complex IT systems (SAP or RUSADA preferred) for the purposes of aircraft technical management.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Airbus A330 or Airbus family Type Rating with EASA License.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Detailed Knowledge of aircraft maintenance schedules, manufacturer and regulatory requirement.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Detailed knowledge of Continuing Airworthiness regulatory and manufacturing requirements.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Capable of taking a safety focused approach all facets of work<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Understanding of Aircraft AOG management and planning.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Understanding and reacting to complex operational scenarios.</p> <p>If you are interested in applying for this position, please send copies of the following documentation to ashley.ewen@zenon.aero</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;CV<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Licence<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Colour copy of Passport</p> <p>All applications will be handled in confidence.&nbsp;</p> <p>Zenon Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in regards to this position.</p>
