<p><strong>AeroProfessional are pleased to announce that on behalf of our client, an International Business Jet Company, are currently seeking suitably qualified persons to fill several vacancies within the Dispatch team.</strong></p> <p>You will oversee the setup, flight watch and safe completion of the company’s flying programme through the running and supervision of the shift team, ensuring all operational tasks are fulfilled, and AOC/ISBAO regulations/company procedures are adhered to by communicating effectively with both internal and external clients.</p> <p>Your Key Responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>To oversee the flying programme operation both tactically and strategically throughout the shift period.</li> <li>Supervise shift staff, advising when necessary.</li> <li>Effectively manage workload.</li> <li>Conduct route evaluations and performance feasibility of client / charter trips.</li> <li>Ensure set up of Handling/Fuel/Clearances/Customs/EAPIS/Flightware/Trial flight Plans/ Routing Correction for CFMU/IFPS Validation.</li> <li>Preparation of crew briefs.</li> <li>Supervision and support of flights.</li> <li>Crewing, including flight time limitation calculation.</li> <li>Prepare and deliver a handover to the oncoming shift providing relevant background information to enhance understanding, highlighting items for immediate action and tasks for completion over the next shift period.</li> <li>Coordination with customers and crews.</li> <li>On shift training for new starters.</li> <li>Mentoring of Subordinates.</li> <li>Ad hoc projects and tasks as required by your line Manager.</li> <li>Supervision of, and close cooperation with, Dispatchers, Flight Coordinators and OPS Assistant.</li> <li>Flight feasibility.</li> <li>Flight ware Force save approvals.</li> <li>Aircraft routing selection.</li> <li>Liaising externally with Aircraft Owners/ Principle Clients, Civil Aviation Authorities, Airport Authorities, All company service provider companies.</li> </ul> <p>To apply for this role you will need fulfil the following experience and qualification criteria:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of formal Operations Course</li> <li>Supervisory experience.</li> <li>Time critical, dynamic and fast paced Operational experience</li> <li>Experience of weather (textual/graphic) / NOTAM decoding.</li> <li>Flight Planning (STOPS/ETOPS/EROPS – Worldwide).</li> <li>Experience in Crewing / Aircraft Performance calculations.</li> <li>Work experience as Flight Dispatcher.</li> </ul> <p>In addition, successful candidates will need to display the following knowledge, skills & attributes:</p> <ul> <li>Flight Watch</li> <li>Organising of Handling / Fuel / Over Flight and Landing Clearances / HOTAC</li> <li>Knowledge of Jeppesen Flight Planning System</li> <li>Awareness of global political sensitivities and their effects on aviation</li> <li>A strong commitment to contributing to the management and development of the Dispatch team.</li> <li>A highly process driven approach to problem solving.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li> <li>Excellent spoken/written English ability; any other European language would be an asset</li> <li>Very good computing skills</li> <li>Willingness for shift work including night shifts</li> <li>Strong team player and communicator with all levels of internal and external clients</li> <li>Fast and accurate work pace</li> <li>Ability to work calmly under pressure, prioritise and delegate when required</li> <li>Ability to problem solve, think laterally and respond rapidly to operational disruption</li> <li>Reliable and flexible personality</li> </ul> <p>This is position is Direct Hire</p>
