<img src="https://counter.adcourier.com/a2FybGwuNzg3MjcuNDI0QGFlcm9wZW9wbGUuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif" /><br /><p><strong>REPAIRS &amp; IMPORTS MANAGER</strong></p><p><strong>Salary - No aviation background - £20,000 pa</strong></p><p><strong>Strong aviation background - up to £29,000 pa</strong></p><p> </p><p>Requirements:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Excellent administrative skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels, both verbal and written</li><li>Professional, confident and courteous telephone manner</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively</li><li>Excellent IT and organisational skills with an intermediate knowledge/understanding of Word, Excel, Outlook</li><li>Experience within the aviation industry would be advantageous</li><li>Flexible and adaptable, self motivated and a desire to succeed</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p>Responsibilities include :</p><p> </p><ul><li>Administration of component repair orders to aviation industry quality standards and airworthiness regulations</li><li>Source suppliers to quality and industry approved standards</li><li>To select aircraft component repair services from approved suppliers in order to maximise inventory quality and minimise cost</li><li>Work with suppliers to ensure on time delivery and high service levels in order to support both internal and external customer requirements</li><li>Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best price, terms, warranty and service levels</li><li>Administration of workshop reports and repair quotations, including negotiation of repair costs</li><li>Expedite open orders to effectively achieve required delivery and service levels using specialised expediting system</li><li>Customer account management, including status reporting and processing of cost recharges</li><li>Approval of invoices in accordance with company procedures</li><li>Administration of import documentation</li><li>Assist with expediting orders / status reporting to achieve on time delivery</li><li>Ensure repair order and certification compliance</li><li>Customer and supplier liaison</li><li>Assist with achieving supplier performance and service level requirements</li><li>Provide MRO support to all customers and suppliers, reporting and KPI's</li><li>Awareness of component conditions, certification and airworthiness regulations</li><li>Understand IPC's, alternative part numbers and aircraft affectivity</li><li>Evaluate the company's historical data, market intelligence and repair work scope to determine the component economical repair value</li><li>Ensure customer recharges are processed in accordance with the company procedures</li><li>Assist with department training of specialised system and existing processes</li><li>Liaise and work with internal departments to ensure order, work scope, airworthiness and service level compliance</li></ul>
