Senior IT Systems Administrator / 3rd Line Support

<p>Zenon is delighted to have been commissioned by one of the UK’s Premier FBO &amp; Maintenance Repair Organisations to source a Senior IT Systems Administrator (3rd Line Support) on a permanent basis for their Head Quarters based in South UK.</p> <p>A clean driving license is a must as this role will involve travel within the UK.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;1st to 3rd line support (hardware, network and business systems support).&nbsp;<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Deployment of hardware and software<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Business Systems application support<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ongoing project work to improve the service offered.</p> <p>Skills and Expertise:</p> <p>Essential:&nbsp;<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Excellent oral and written communication skills<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Excellent troubleshooting skills, both hardware and software<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Windows Server 2003 - 2012.
