Priority Stores Inspector

<p>Zenon is currently looking for a Priority Stores Inspector to fulfil a short term contract with an established aircraft parts organisation based in the South of England.</p> <p>This position will require the successful candidate to provide accurate inspection of aircraft parts and paperwork and work flexibly on other tasks as required.</p> <p>This position is vital to the external perception of quality service. The holder of the position will be required to take responsibility for a variety of processes and to work, with support, toward identifying any opportunities to make those processes more efficient to administer.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Work a 12-hour shift, 4 on, 4 off, with alternating days and nights.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Demonstrate team-working skills including flexibility to move between tasks as prioritized by the team leader. Understand the individual contribution required in order to produce outstanding results for the group as a whole.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Monitor and ensure satisfactory organizational response to any customer query received including escalation as required and regular feedback.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Work effectively with colleagues from a number of departments, notably Customer Services, Warehouse and Logistics.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Positively engage with Continuous Improvement activity including communication of ideas for improvement to team leader and management.&nbsp;<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Proactively communicate with internal customers to meet targets. Maintain positive and professional relationships.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Demonstrate flexibility to assist other areas of the Inspection department as workload fluctuates.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Work with reference to industry standards, notably in the use of the correct documentation and records.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Any other reasonable and appropriate tasks as requested by the management team in order to meet the needs of the business.</p> <p>Person Specification &amp; Qualifications</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Excellent Customer Service Skills and demonstrates going ‘extra mile’.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Previous Warehouse experience is highly desirable<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Previous Aviation Experience is essential<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Part 145 Qualification is highly is essential<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Demonstrates team-working behaviours including supporting others through reliability, empathy and sharing of knowledge.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to identify potential difficulties and their causes. &nbsp;Able to establish workable solutions and make rational judgements.
