Airport Product Specialist

<p>The role of Airport Product Specialist requires a thorough understanding of airport operations covering both passenger and ramp handling. A knowledge of cabin crew operations is an added bonus.</p> <p>Knowledge in all of the following day to day processes:</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Check in processes and procedures for both domestic and international flights</li> <li>Self-service check in channels (web, mobile and Kiosk)</li> <li>Ticket sales</li> <li>Ancillary revenue sales</li> <li>Checked baggage rules and requirements</li> <li>Self-bag drop processes</li> <li>Boarding</li> <li>Disruption handling</li> <li>Irregular Operations (IROP)</li> <li>Compensation options vouchers etc.</li> <li>Hotel and FIM processes</li> <li>Airport co-ordination and communication Lounge operations</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The role is broad reaching and varied, requiring the ability multi-task and respond quickly to customer requests with each day be completely different from the next. The role will see you performing the following tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Acting as the primary contact or liaison for all day to day issues for our customers globally</li> <li>Conduct monthly customer meetings and discuss any customer issues, support tickets, upgrade plans and general client relationship management</li> <li>Conducting strategic business reviews at customer sites to gather detailed business and process requires on their operation in the following key areas: <ul> <li>Airport passenger handing and customer service</li> <li>Ramp operations</li> <li>Disruption Management</li> <li>Weight and Balance</li> </ul> </li> <li>Deliver training to customers on any of the mobile applications</li> <li>Support customers during the implementation of our applications or during application upgrades</li> <li>Creating user documentation and training guides</li> <li>Work with the development and support team for testing of the applications</li> <li>Providing functional and creative input into future enhancements&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The role will require regular monthly travel to customers both domestic and international.</p> <p>This position is a Permanent Direct Hire Essential:</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3-5 year experience working for an airline or ground handler</li> <li>Ability to work with little supervision and manage your time efficiently</li> <li>Passionate, creative and easy to work with.</li> <li>Ability to think out of the box and find solutions to complex issues Flexible, focused, hardworking, driven and goal orientated</li> <li>Right to live and work in the UK</li> </ul>
