<p>We have been commissioned by a one of the world’s largest providers of training to the civil and military markets to source a Quality Assurance / Compliance Monitoring Manager on a permanent basis for their facilities in the South East.</p> <p>SUMMARY OF THE JOB</p> <p>The primary task of this role is to manage and maintain the quality management and compliance monitoring system within the companies European Business Aviation Training network, and provide necessary audit oversight in accordance with the compliance monitoring program.</p> <p>The incumbent will contribute to strategies to meet global quality and regulatory compliance objectives, customer and OEM requirements, and requires a high degree of collaboration with the main stakeholders within a matrix organization.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Support the implementation of quality management strategies and plans in order to contribute to the Civil Group’s strategic business objectives and initiatives.</li> <li>Collaborating with quality assurance counterparts, oversee the management of the Quality and Compliance Monitoring and internal audit program in all relevant training centres as it applies to all UK CAA and EASA-related approvals (ATO, FSTDs, etc.).</li> <li>Conduct internal audits at the UK training centre, in order to ensure appropriate level of oversight for all approvals held under different jurisdictions, e.g. UK CAA, FAA.</li> <li>Conduct internal oversight audits at the other training centres.</li> <li>Record and report results to Management, making recommendations to ensure that the organization maintains regulatory compliance as well as compliance to customer and OEM requirements. Manage 3rd party audits on external suppliers/sub-contractors when necessary.</li> <li>Assume day-to-day ownership for the improvement of the Management System allowing the Regulatory post holders to achieve their accountability within a proactive management framework.</li> <li>Plan and manage Management Evaluations as part of regulatory governance, and which acts as the forum to report and advise Management of issues raised.</li> <li>Follow-up on remedial actions, as agreed, related to the ongoing monitoring and compliance of the relevant Management System.</li> <li>In coordination with other regulatory post holders and with Regulatory Affairs and Regulatory Compliance personnel, liaise and build relationships with Regulators, internal operational personnel, other internal business partners, customers, OEMs and suppliers.</li> <li>Responsible for the ownership and appropriate control of the Management System and Compliance Monitoring Manuals, audit activities and all associated/approved documentation and procedures.</li> <li>Plan, organize and execute periodic quality meetings for training centre quality assurance counterparts.</li> <li>Work closely with the Regulatory Affairs, Compliance and Safety personnel on related matters, and contribute to developing a proactive quality, safety and compliance culture across the training centre network.</li> <li>Assess feedback from recognized/external bodies and OEMs, and integrate and implement recommendations and applicable standards into the Management System as appropriate.</li> </ul> <p>Knowledge, Skill, and/or Ability Required:-</p> <ul> <li>Highly organized, team player attitude</li> <li>Strong listening and observing skills</li> <li>Inquisitive</li> <li>Strong drive in promoting a quality and compliance culture</li> <li>Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously</li> <li>Open and professional</li> <li>Ability to manage work with minimal supervision</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills</li> <li>Numerate and IT literate.</li> <li>Business sense</li> <li>Fluent in English</li> </ul> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED</p> <ul> <li>Relevant college or university degree in a technical field , or an equivalent combination of education and experience</li> <li>Broad experience of working in the aviation industry – ideally in a pilot training, aircraft operations or simulator training centre environment</li> <li>Prior experience of working with Aviation Regulators and Airline customers will be of benefit</li> <li>Accredited Quality Lead Auditor/Auditor qualification</li> <li>Good knowledge of Aviation regulations, Quality Management Systems and the latest quality standards and processes</li> <li>Ability to work in a global, matrix organisation across different levels, in a culturally diverse environment</li> <li>Experience of, or ability to quickly learn, the company’s quality and compliance software management system software – Q-Pulse, and provide relevant internal training on its use and application</li> <li>Good knowledge and experience of bespoke IT support systems (TCOM) as well as Microsoft Office tools with the ability to work with modern communications tools, e.g. MS lync, SharePoint, etc.</li> </ul> <p>If the above opportunity is of interest to you and you want to work for a forward thinking organisation with a true global footprint please forward your CV to <a href="mailto:kevin.small@zenon.aero" rel="no-follow">kevin.small@zenon.aero</a></p> <p>Applicants must have the right to live and work in the EU/EEC/UK.</p> <p>Unfortunately only short listed candidates will be contacted.</p> <p>Zenon Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.</p>
