Systems Operations & Flight Planning Officers

<p>Zenon have been commissioned by one of the UK’s most successful operations to source a number of Systems Operations &amp; Flight Planning Officer on a permanent basis for their facility in the UK.</p> <p>The purpose of the position is to manage and co-ordinate all Flight Planning related matters in relation to our clients flying programme within the current ops window, ensuring that all components of the operation comply with relevant legislation.</p> <p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide Flight Planning support.</li> <li>Provide Flight Planning subject matter expertise to all OCC Flight Ops staff.</li> <li>Allocating the processing of Flight Plans to the Ops Controller or Ops Assistant as required.</li> <li>Error checking allocated flight plans.</li> <li>Monitoring of the Daily Aircraft Flying Programme.</li> <li>Ensuring the electronic briefing data is available and up to date for all crews operating.</li> <li>Acting as the primary contact for any day-to-day leasing enquiries and when required liaising with the Authority for any ops related matters.</li> <li>Ensuring the operations log is accurately maintained recording all significant events or programme changes.</li> <li>Acting as an ETOPs specialist within the OCC.</li> <li>Ability to complete pre &amp; post flight analysis on fuel management.</li> <li>Managing and co-ordinating all matters relating to the flying programme within the current operating window, ensuring that all components of the operation comply with relevant legislation.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Experience Required </u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous ETOps Flight Planning experience in a civilian airline or military operations room environment.</li> <li>Knowledge of IFPS and CFMU procedures.</li> <li>Sound working knowledge of flight planning software and other associated operations room applications.</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external agencies.</li> <li>Proven leadership skills.</li> <li>Team player with ability to work autonomously when required.</li> <li>Proven ability to maintain accurate records in a complex environment.</li> <li>Be proficient in the English language (written, verbal &amp; reading).
