Senior Technical Service Engineer

<p>Zenon is delighted to be commissioned by one of the UK Leading Regional Airlines to source a Senior Technical Service Engineer for a permanent position.</p> <p>The main purposes of this position are:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor all incoming Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and other Mandatory requirements and action as required, ensures they are delegated to the appropriate Technical Services Engineer for detailed analysis and, where appropriate, the generation of business cases, work forms, etc. as might be needed</li> <li>The completion of ARC renewals and issues within the appropriate published requirements of the Authority</li> <li>Ensures the reliability programme is produced and published to the requirements of the Company and Authority.</li> <li>Liaising with Technical Records and Planning Departments over the implementation of any applicable</li> <li>Respond to Quality reports and close out findings as might be required</li> <li>Collate data on aircraft damage and repairs, maintaining the Master Damage Files to the requirements of the Authorities</li> <li>Investigate flight data monitoring events and advise on engineering/maintenance input as might be required</li> <li>Monitor and assist in the investigation of power plant performance issues</li> <li>Assist with the planning of C Checks</li> <li>Informs the Technical Pilot of the effect of any modifications, or similar that are being planned that could impact the handling or operation of the aircraft</li> <li>Liaising with the Maintenance Department on Technical issues with a view to developing solutions</li> </ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Part M Course Certificate,</li> <li>Formal aeronautical engineering qualification and substantial experience in an aircraft engineering role.</li> <li>Previous supervisory experience,</li> <li>Good negotiation skills</li> <li>An excellent level of knowledge of EASA Part M and MSG3 philosophy and ARC renewal/training is required.</li> <li>A good level of knowledge of AMP control processes and C Check Planning and work scope compilation is preferable.</li> <li>Part 145 knowledge would be desirable.</li> <li>An Embraer 135/145 Type Training Certificate would be also be desirable. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>If the above opportunity is of interest to you and you want to work for a forward thinking organisation please forward your CV to ashley.ewen@zenon.aero</p> <p>Unfortunately only short listed candidates will be contacted.</p> <p>Zenon Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in regards to this vacancy.</p>
