About this role
<p>My Client in Upper Austria urgently requires experienced Hands~On Repair MRB / MRO / Concession Composites Engineers with recent Airbus Board Authority for long term contract. </p> <p>Job Description </p> <p>The primary task will be the support of Composite Translating Sleeve composite components for Airbus programs and the Client aircraft nacelle system. </p> <p>The task will also include the downstream support of tooling and machining. Develop documentation, planning, tool orders, standard work instructions, etc in support of developmental and production processes. Provide corrective and preventative actions for quality issues. Provide technical hands-on support to the shop floor. Participate on Continuous improvement event teams to address various producability issues and opportunities. Disposition the repair of non-conforming hardware under delegated authority from the customer(s). Responsible for several components of a project or a complex component of a larger project. Contributes to the team or department by applying his/her knowledge of one or more functional areas. Fully developed professional ability to work without direct guidance or direction from others. Has in depth knowledge of the discipline and role of MRB/MRO/Liaison/Repair Engineering approved on all boards. <br /> <br /> Education/Certificates<br /> <br /> BS engineering degree (aerospace, mechanical and materials degree) from accredited university proven related experience. MS engineering degree with proven related experience. Other relevant Engineering Qualification + proven experience of Aero Composites Repair. Must be able to attain MRB authority on Airbus boards quickly. Proven relevant Airbus experience. <br /> <br /> Experience/Qualifications <br /> <br /> Excellent communication, people skills & must be a team player. Experience with repair of Composite Aero Structures Essential. Critical structural hardware experience. Experienced working with technical information, reporting research results, and strong technical understanding. Previous experience in Aerospace industry ~ Composites, AS9100, Lean Manufacturing & New Product Introduction process. Lean Product Development/Lean manufacturing experience is a plus. Knowledge of Enovia, CATIA V5, Experience with SAP, Team Center. Previous MRO background may be beneficial.<br /> <br /> # Excellent Rates & Long Term Contracts for suitable MRB/MRO/Liaison/Repair Concessions Engineers. <br /> <br /> # EU member Citizenship required.</p>
