<p><strong>** Simulator Maintenance Engineer Required!! **</strong></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Oaklands Global currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Simulator Maintenance Engineer, based in the South East to join our client who specialise in training solutions who are offering a competitive salary and benefits along with huge potential for career progression and development.</p> <p> </p> <p>The successful candidate will ensure that the in-service Simulation Training Equipment meets the contractual availability. You will perform all work in conjunction with standard operating procedures for the day-to day operation of the Simulation Training Equipment.</p> <p> </p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p> </p> <p>– Prepare the Simulation Training Equipment for daily operation</p> <p> </p> <p>– Load the appropriate exercise scenario and other tasks required</p> <p> </p> <p>– Liaise as necessary with the customer before and after exercises</p> <p> </p> <p>– Complete journey logs in the system</p> <p> </p> <p>– React quickly and decisively to restore failed equipment</p> <p> </p> <p>– Repair minor snags and faults</p> <p> </p> <p>– Run QTG tests according to the declared schedules</p> <p> </p> <p>– Maintain current and accurate documentation</p> <p> </p> <p>The ideal candidate:</p> <p> </p> <p>– A good background in electrical or electronic engineering</p> <p> </p> <p>– A good background in compusting systems</p> <p> </p> <p>– An interest in and knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems</p> <p> </p> <p>– IT skills; Microsoft packages including Word and Excel</p> <p> </p> <p>– Problem solving skills</p> <p> </p> <p>– Analytical skills</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Oaklands Global Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.</p> <p> </p>
