<p align="center"><strong>AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL OFFICER TOWER OR APPROACH CONTROL – ABU DHABI AIRPORT</strong></p> <p>GAL Air Navigation Services (GAL ANS) LLC is currently seeking Tower and Approach Air Traffic Controllers to join their expanding team at Abu Dhabi Airport.&nbsp; The Approach Radar (APS) or Tower (ADC) Air Traffic Controller will be responsible for the safe and expeditious delivery of Air Traffic Services (ATS) at Abu Dhabi International Airport in accordance with National and/or International Civil Aviation Regulations, policies, procedures and recommendations.</p> <p><strong>GAL Air Navigation Services</strong></p> <p>We provide specialized Air Traffic Services, Air Navigation Services, Air Navigation Training and aerospace support services with a commitment to excellence, quality, safety and value. &nbsp;GAL ANS continued its growth in 2015, handling over 485,000 air traffic movements in the UAE FIR across its contracts.</p> <p>Over 23 million passengers passed through Abu Dhabi International Airport in 2015, an increase of over 17%.&nbsp; The airport is the second largest in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and one of the fastest growing airport hubs globally, serving over 93 destinations in 56 countries. With traffic growth forecast to continue to increase, GAL ANS is seeking to expand its team with additional Approach Radar and Tower Air Traffic Controllers. You will be a part of a multi-cultural professional team providing Air Traffic Services within the UAE.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>You will perform all duties related to the provision of either Tower or Radar Approach Services in a modern ATS environment;</p> </li> <li> <p>Participate as a vital team-member to maintain safety, efficiency and capacity for the provision of services by GAL ANS;</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide Air Traffic Services to aircraft operating within assigned controlled airspace ensuring the delivery of a safe, orderly and expeditious air traffic service;</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensuring that you are up to date with all regulations and procedures through unit briefings or self-briefings;</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintaining standard separation between all aircraft in accordance with applicable rules, regulations and unit procedures.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Current valid ATC License to include a valid Control Tower (ADC) and/or Approach Surveillance (APS) validation;</p> </li> <li> <p>Minimum ICAO Level 4 English Language Proficiency, preferably level 5;</p> </li> <li> <p>Current ICAO Class III Medical Certification;</p> </li> <li> <p>An On-the-Job-Training Instructors qualification is desirable;</p> </li> <li> <p>Previous UAE/GCC experience is desirable.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Experience</strong></p> <p>Candidates will be required to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience preferably 5 years’ as a <strong><u>currently validated</u></strong> Approach Radar (APS) or Tower (ADC) Air Traffic Controller at a recognized major international airport, preferably with parallel runways, handling over 100,000 annual air traffic operations.</p>
