<p>Resource Group has been tasked with supporting an innovative, satellite company working within the aviation industry. The company is looking for a Director of the Flight Deck Connectivity division, the successful individual will need to be a high-calibre, forward-thinking, enthusiastic expert who will encourage airlines and industry stakeholders to fully embrace our technology. The key function will be to bring to market the most modern technology, leveraging on the existing clients and also creating new opportunities and client base.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>· Develop the product value proposition and work with the aviation industry to establish it as the standard for flight deck connectivity</p> <p>· Manage the transition of current clients to the most advanced systems</p> <p>· Create leads and grow opportunities</p> <p>· Mature new product capabilities</p> <p>· Promote and develop business cases for an introduction for a new services </p> <p>· Contribute to industry fora, and represent the company’s position to these fora (including delivering presentations, authoring white papers, and performing technical demonstrations)</p> <p>· Will be the SME for all matters of flight deck connectivity</p> <p>· Develop relationships with all key flight deck communication stakeholders to stimulate interest in the market and raise the company profile with the end-user</p> <p>Necessary Knowledge & Skills:</p> <p>· Minimum of 15 years’ experience either in an airline, airline service provider, or an avionics vendor</p> <p>· In-depth technical knowledge of both aircraft safety and operational communications requirements</p> <p>· Essential to have expert knowledge of ACARS, aviation telecommunication standards, SATCOM and VHF communications</p> <p>· Thorough analytical skills and business/financial knowledge and proven project management skills</p> <p>· Dynamic and effective communicator</p> <p>Please apply if your skills/experience match the above criteria, only applicants with the correct profile will be retained and contacted.</p> <p>Resource Group is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.</p>
