Lead Certification Engineer, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire

<p>As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions based at our Leighton Buzzard facility, including a <strong>Lead Certification Engineer </strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Reporting to the Certification Manager, you will be&nbsp;responible for management and oversight of the&nbsp;Catalougue Branch (Materials, Noise, Illuminance, Bespoke, Endurance, Qual Planning) of the Certification Department, including but not limited to:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Line management of personnel within their team.</li> <li>Responsibility and accountability for the technical quality and timely delivery of deliverable outputs from the Catalogue Team</li> <li>Participation in the planning and support for delivery schedules, resource planning and qualification plans, liaising with experts within the Systems function.</li> <li>Participation in Certification Governance work and delegated responsibility for CertGov oversight of given section, reporting to Verification and Test Manager as overall CertGov head.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Ideal candidate will have the following - </strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Engineering degree or ONC/HNC in design related field and/or proven related experience</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of galley systems, preferably with an aerospace background</li> <li>A detailed knowledge of the certification and test structures and practices</li> <li>Effective oral and written communication skills</li> <li>Good team working skills</li> <li>Interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to drive and inspire personnel.</li> <li>MS Word, Excel and Outlook</li> </ul>
