We now seek to strengthen our Airline Operations Shared Service team with an Inflight Coordinator. The position is located in the New York area.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> <b>Role Responsibilities:</b>&nbsp;<br /> • Create, coordinate and distribute all relevant Inflight info to the cabin crew&nbsp;<br /> • Contribute and participate in the updates and revision of service concept, choice of products and the acceptable equipment in cooperation and acceptance with Inflight Services. Secure that all changes are applicable with a good and healthy HMS-profile&nbsp;<br /> • Responsible for regular updates and revision of Service Manual with the correct routines on behalf of Inflight Services&nbsp;<br /> • Responsible for the coordination of any changes in the LLP (liquor loading plan) and MLP (meal loading plan) and the communication process with Inflight Services, Catering Suppliers&nbsp;<br /> • Coordination of Inflight activities with the Cabin Administration, training department and any other relevant department when required&nbsp;<br /> • Weekly follow up meetings with the service providers&nbsp;<br /> • Close cooperation with the retailers&nbsp;<br /> • Internal Cooperation with other departments&nbsp;<br /> • Active coordination with the cabin base manager, base captain and crew&nbsp;<br /> • Taking actions when deviation in loadings or operation issues&nbsp;<br /> • Follow-up and secure working tasks and agreements internal/external&nbsp;<br /> • Support in the menu pricing strategy and brochures&nbsp;<br /> • Controlling invoices for assigned bases&nbsp;<br /> • Participation in Budget work&nbsp;<br /> • Participate in purchase and distribution of equipment for inflight use&nbsp;<br /> • Regular contact with BCCC`s, in order to stay updated on any inflight service topics and issues at their respective bases.&nbsp;<br /> • Regular contact towards the training department, to secure recurrent training and updates on different concepts.&nbsp;<br /> • Responsible for catering related Safety net reports and catering mail&nbsp;<br /> • Support in Cleaning tasks – Advise change/development of Service Concept on different routes and segments</p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p>• Previous inflight experience within both long-haul and short haul operations&nbsp;<br /> • Relevant experience in cabin operations&nbsp;<br /> • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent&nbsp;<br /> • Effective planning/organizing skills, customer focused and analytical with good judgment, able to work under pressure and a team player&nbsp;<br /> • Fluent in written and spoken English&nbsp;<br /> • Thorough knowledge of MS Office and crew planning systems&nbsp;<br /> • Relevant Aviation, Commercial and Management Training an advantage</p> <p><strong>We offer</strong></p> <p>Working for Norwegian you have the opportunity to form your career within a rapid-growing organisation that challenges the airline-industry every day.
