<p><strong>General Manager, Quality, Safety & Security</strong></p> <p><br /> <strong>Reference Number: </strong>HKC/QSS/PQSS<br /> <strong>Department: </strong>Quality, Safety & Security<br /> <strong>Time: </strong>2016-05- 26</p> <p><br /> <strong> Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>The General Manager, Quality, Safety & Security should possess operational management experience and an adequate technical background to understand the systems that support operations. Operational skills alone are not sufficient. The General Manager, Quality, Safety & Security should have a good understanding of Safety Management principles that have been acquired through formal training and practical experience. The General Manager, Quality, Safety & Security must display strengths in several areas to compliment professional expertise;</li> <li>Directly responsible to Chief Operations Officer (COO);</li> <li>Supervisor Manager, Quality, Safety & Security and his team;</li> <li>Maintain close liaison, for safety corrective actions, with Director,, Flight Operations (DFO)</li> <li>Maintain close liaison, for safety corrective actions, with General Manager, Maintenance & Engineering (GMME).</li> </ul> <p><br /> <strong>Minimum Requirements </strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in aviation related subject such as Engineering or Aviation Management;</li> <li>Proven relevant work experience, including aeronautical industry, and appropriate management experience. Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and familiarity with quality systems. Additional exposure in the functions of the organization (e.g. training management, aircraft operations, air traffic management, aerodrome operations, and maintenance organization management);</li> <li>Proven specialization in the knowledge and skill in the operations of aircraft and airlines industry;</li> <li>Experienced to develop and administer regulations and safety standards pertaining to the operations of aircraft;</li> <li>Sound knowledge of safety management principles and practices;</li> <li>good written and verbal communication skills;</li> <li>well-developed interpersonal skills;</li> <li>computer literacy;</li> <li>ability to relate to all levels, both inside and outside the organization;</li> <li>organizational ability;</li> <li>ability to work unsupervised;</li> <li>good analytical skills;</li> <li>leadership skills and an authoritative approach; and</li> <li>worthy of respect from peers and management.</li> <li>Well-versed in the airline practice and savvy in professional ethics of airline regulations.</li> </ul> <p><strong>To apply, please click on the 'Apply' button.</strong></p>
