<p><strong>Manager, Quality, Safety & Security<br /> Position: </strong>Manager, Quality, Safety & Security<br /> <strong>Reference Number: </strong>HKC/QSS/MQSS<br /> <strong>Department: </strong>Quality, Safety & Security<br /> <strong>Time: </strong>2016-06-14</p> <p><strong> Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>To be deputizing for the General Manager, Quality, Safety & Security (GM, QSS). Providing corporate level oversight of the safety compliance and quality assurance for airworthiness, training, standards and operational functions across HKC’s regional network;</li> <li>Provide oversight in the Safety and Quality Management processes for the entire Company regionally;</li> <li>Support GM, QSS in the management duties of the team;</li> <li>Perform the management and implementation of company quality and compliance management systems such as audits;</li> <li>Ensure Quality and Safety conforms with CAD 360 and CAD 712 requirements.</li> <li>Be a member of the Safety Action Group (SAG) providing subject matter advice on safety, quality and compliance;</li> <li>Support corporate level safety and quality / Safety Management System (SMS) / ERP training;</li> <li>Manage the Flight Data Analysis Programme in line with CAD 739 and company policy;</li> <li>Manage and maintain a close liaison with flight crew, flight dispatch center personnel, maintenance personnel, and other internal stakeholders to ensure that safety and quality issues are fully integrated with all aspects of Company activities;</li> <li>Conduct research and project work related to Safety issues;</li> <li>Managing the SMS implementation plan;</li> <li>Facilitating hazard identification and risk management activities;</li> <li>Monitoring the effectiveness of mitigation actions;</li> <li>Providing periodic reports on safety performance to the Safety Board;</li> <li>Advise GM, QSS on Safety and Quality data and trends internal and external to the Company;</li> <li>Support the maintenance of the SMS and QMS manuals and associated documentation;</li> <li>Carry out duties in the event of an aircraft accident or incident in accordance with the requirements of the Emergency Response Plan;</li> <li>Lead and conduct Safety investigations on behalf of GM, QSS;</li> <li>Support GM, QSS with the ongoing development of the SMS, auditing the compliance of quality standards regionally, including technical assurance, regulatory compliance, corrective actions and mitigations for identified risks;</li> <li>Oversee all operational units’ identification and mitigation of risks, supporting the department heads to ensure competency, tools and resources are adequate;</li> <li>Planning and organizing staff safety and quality training;</li> <li>Travel overseas as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Requirements </strong></p> <ul> <li>Attended and successfully completed a course on management of safety and quality or equivalent by ICAO/IATA or other relevant organization; </li> <li>Degree in aviation related subject such as Engineering or Aviation Management;</li> <li>Proven aviation safety and quality management experience in Aviation Industry, experience in private aviation can be acceptable;</li> <li>Broad-based aviation knowledge and managerial experience in flight operations and MRO are preferred;</li> <li>Liaison experience with HKCAD, FAA, EASA and/or other aviation industry agents;</li> <li>Have attended and successfully completed a course in auditing;</li> <li>A relevant training in instructional techniques;</li> <li>Good understanding/ knowledge including the latest development of the relevant training subject;</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; and</li> <li>Excellent leadership skills, strong business acumen with a reasonable level of financial literacy.</li> </ul> <p><strong> To apply, please click on the 'Apply' button.</strong></p>
