<p><strong>Contract Manager Ground Operations&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>With competitive prices and customer friendly solutions, Norwegian has experienced significant growth over the recent years establishing new bases in Europe, Asia and the U.S. A key aspect of Norwegian’s operations is the effective utilization of our fleet and crew, ensuring precise and detailed planning to the highest standards for our customers and employees.</p> <p><strong>Job Description</strong>&nbsp;In line with Procurement guidelines and &nbsp;framework</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the companies ground handling contracts.</li> <li>Assisting other areas within the department with contract negotiations if required</li> <li>Ensure that all contracts, within Ground Operation are up to date and assisted with a SLA where appropriate and in accordance with the company’s policy and with the correct cost level</li> <li>Prepare and implement tender documentation</li> <li>Negotiation before start-up of new destinations and expiration of existing agreements</li> <li>Responsible for the dialog with the insurance company in Ground Ops. matters</li> </ul> <p>We are looking for a person who has solid experience and education within Airlines/Aviation/with the following qualifications:</p> <p><strong>Qualifications and personal qualities</strong></p> <ul> <li>IATA GHM/ IATA SGHA &amp; Main Agreement</li> <li>Relevant EASA-OPS and relevant rules and regulations from national authorities,</li> <li>Contract skills</li> <li>Good communication skills internally and externally</li> <li>Good negotiations skills</li> <li>Autonomous, self-driven and structured work style</li> <li>Ability to make decisions</li> <li>Understanding and knowledge of the aviation business</li> </ul> <p>The positions is located in Barcelona and will be working in close relationship with Head of Procurement.&nbsp;</p>
