The position is located in Barcelona.</p> <p><strong>Please note, we will also consider Ground Ops and Flight Ops Quality Auditors</strong></p> <p><strong>Role Responsibilities Technical Auditor:&nbsp; </strong></p> <p>As part of the Norwegians SSC Audit team, this job is primarily responsible for the planning, preparation and conduct of Compliance audits and inspections. The auditor will be responsible for the follow-up of corrective actions and the verification of compliance. The scope of audits includes all areas of EASA PART - M/145. Other responsibilities include the follow up of the Norwegian Compliance Monitoring System.</p> <p><strong>Qualification Requirements</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>At least five years’ relevant work experience of which at least two years should be from the aeronautical industry an appropriate position, an appropriate position means managerial position as;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Continuing airworthiness management experience</li> <li>Maintenance management experience&nbsp;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Relevant engineering degree as;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Aeronautical Engineer Degree</li> <li>Mechanical Engineer Degree</li> <li>Electrical Engineer Degree</li> <li>Electronic Engineer Degree&nbsp;</li> <li>Avionic Engineer Degree</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with additional education acceptable to approving competent authority</li> <li>Practical experience and expertise in application of aviation safety and standards and safe operating practices.</li> <li>Minimum 3 years’ technical education</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Fluent in written and spoken English</li> <li>No Criminal Records.</li> </ul> <p>.</p> <p><strong>Desirable Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous Maintenance experience with both wide and narrow body aircraft, ideally B737and B787 Dreamliner</li> <li>Effective planning/organizing skills, customer focused and analytical with good judgment, able to work under pressure and a team player</li> <li>Thorough knowledge of MS Office</li> <li>Relevant Aviation, Commercial and Management Training an advantage</li> <li>Structured</li> <li>Systematic</li> <li>Knowledge of acts and regulations (EASA /FAA) in the aviation industry</li> <li>Preferred knowledge within the EASA Part-M &amp; Part-145 regulations</li> <li>Good communications skills, both internally and externally</li> <li>Ability to be persistent and promote quality</li> <li>Knowledge and training in quality systems, auditing techniques and the Organizations procedures and documentation</li> <li>Preferable bilingual (Spanish)</li> </ul> <p align="center"><strong>Opportunities</strong></p> <p align="center">&nbsp;</p> <p>Working for Norwegian you have the opportunity to form your career within a rapid-growing organisation that challenges the airline-industry every day.&nbsp; The position is independent and gives a great possibility for further career development inside Norwegian</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
