Continuous Airworthiness Manager

<p>On behalf of our client, a private aviation services company in Dubai, we are recruiting a Continuous Airworthiness Manager.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <p><strong><em>Post Holder for Continuing Airworthiness Management:</em></strong></p> <p>The Post Holder i.e. CAM will ensure along with group of post holders compliance of CAR M Sub Part G that all maintenance is carried out by suitably approved maintenance organization(s), in accordance with the relevant approved maintenance programme, on time and to an approved standard.  He / she will act to ensure that the organizations responsibilities in the following areas can be met:</p> <ul> <li>Establishment and development of maintenance programmes for the aircraft managed by the organization required by Part MA.302.</li> <li>Presentation of maintenance programmes to the competent authority for approval and provision of a copy to the owner operator.</li> <li>Ensure the approval of modifications and repairs.</li> <li>Ensuring modifications and repairs (changes) are carried out to an approved standard.</li> <li>Ensuring all maintenance is carried out in accordance with the approved maintenance programme and released in accordance with M.A. sub part H.</li> <li>Ensuring all applicable airworthiness directives and operational directives with a continued airworthiness impact are applied.</li> <li>Ensuring that the aircraft is taken to an appropriately approved maintenance</li> <li>organization whenever necessary.</li> <li>Ensuring all known defects are rectified.</li> <li>Co-ordination of scheduled maintenance, the application of airworthiness directives, the replacement of service life limited parts and component inspections to ensure work is carried out properly.</li> <li>Manage and prepare all continuing airworthiness records.</li> <li>Ensuring the weight and balance statement reflects the current status of the aircraft.</li> <li>The relationship with the Part 145/Subpart F maintenance contractor(s) and</li> <li>establishment of a Maintenance Contract required by Part M.A. 201(h) 2. (m)</li> <li>Non mandatory modification embodiment policy, where appropriate.</li> <li>EASA /UAE licensed engineers are competent to issue Certificates of Release to Service in accordance with M.A. 801.</li> <li>That the Certificate of Airworthiness for each aircraft operated by Empire Aviation remains valid in respect of:<br /> (i)        The Airworthiness of the aircraft.<br /> (ii)       The expiry date specified on the Airworthiness Review Certificate and<br /> (iii)      Any other condition specified in the Certificate</li> <li>Reporting any occurrences of a maintenance nature to the Regulatory authority and the aircraft manufacturers. This includes both Mandatory occurrences and occurrences related to maintenance findings, which fall outside the Mandatory scheme.</li> <li>The amendment and control of this Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition.</li> <li>Review and implementation, as appropriate, of any additional national requirement.</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The applicant should have held previously held similar management post holder position.</li> <li>Applicant must hold a valid UAE /EASA part 66 license or National aviation authority licenses with at least two company operated types (Gulfstream G650, Gulfstream G450, Global XRS, Falcon 7X, Embraer Legacy 650/600, Challenger 300, Hawker HS-125)</li> <li>A minimum experience of 15 years in aviation out of which at least 2 years in CAMO and should be current on all required trainings.</li> <li>Should meet the requirements of CAR M and be acceptable to UAE GCAA as a post holder.</li> <li>Should be familiar to overseeing Maintenance management of various aircraft types under various foreign regulatory authorities i.e CAYMAN, ISLE OF MAN, SAN MARINO, INDIA ETC.</li> </ul>
