About this role
<p> </p> <p>VistaJet is seeking dynamic, enthusiastic staff to join our team at the Maintenance Operations Control Centre at our Malta Based Operational Head Quarters</p> <p>This 24/7 department serves as the focal point of contact between Flight Crews, CAMO, MRT, Maintenance Providers and Flight Operations in reporting aircraft discrepancies, coordinating logistics and determining the appropriate course of action to safely and efficiently ensure unscheduled maintenance support is carried out as efficiently as possible.</p> <p> <br /> KEY SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>To work well in both a team environment and individual capacity</li> <li>Strong planning, administrative and organisational skills necessary to coordinate workload and manage multiple assignments</li> <li>Clear and concise communication skills to clearly support VJ flight crews, to coordinate MRO support & understanding/determination of aircraft serviceability</li> <li>Ability to calculate related financial costs associated with aircraft maintenance & direct recovery accordingly</li> </ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Part-66 license or completed technical apprenticeship training, aeronautical technical school, Engineering Degree or equivalent</li> <li>3 year experience in a comparable aviation environment and experience with aircraft technical documentation</li> <li>Competent English, both written & spoken</li> </ul> <p>WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF:</p> <ul> <li>Maintenance Operations conducted under EU-OPS</li> <li>Aircraft related Technical Manuals</li> <li>Microsoft Office and maintenance related software (Camp etc) Manufacturer’s maintenance programs</li> <li>Worldwide business aviation maintenance support network (BBA preferential)</li> <li>Aircraft system & components</li> <li>EASA Part-M</li> </ul> <p>BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in similar role</li> <li>Line Maintenance / ADHOC problem solving position</li> <li>Ability to calculate specific financial costs associated with aircraft recovery</li> <li>ATA 104 Level III Training of at least one Aircraft type (BBA business aircraft preferred) or Level 1 familiarization training of a relevant sample of aircraft type operated at VistaJet</li> <li>Level 2 Training on Fuel Tank Safety CDCCL</li> <li>EWIS</li> </ul>
