Hangar Supervisor (Maintenance)

<p>On behalf of our client, a world class international executive jet operation, we are now recruiting a Hangar Supervisor (Maintenance) based at Cape Town International Airport.</p> <p><strong>JOB PURPOSE:</strong></p> <p>The main objective of the position is to perform efficient and high standard Maintenance Engineering as laid out in the SACAA CATS and CARS.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure effective aircraft/engine/component maintenance</li> <li>Manage and control workflow processes effectively</li> <li>Effectively control tools, equipment, parts and consumables</li> <li>Effectively control subcontractors</li> <li>Ensure general house-keeping practices</li> <li>Ensure general Quality Assurance functions are applied</li> <li>Carry out all additional tasks related to audit and planning processes effectively</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <p><strong><em><u>Educational:</u></em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Grade 12</li> <li>Licensed Senior AME (Airframe, Category A &amp; C)</li> <li>Relevant Type / Course Ratings</li> <li>Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li> <li>Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport</li> <li>Valid passport</li> </ul> <p><strong><em><u>Experience:</u></em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous Supervision positions held (added advantage)</li> <li>10 Years’ experience as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer</li> <li>2- 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Supervisor / Manager</li> </ul> <p><strong><em><u>Personal Attributes:</u></em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to work overtime and travelling (away from base maintenance may be required)</li> <li>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Co-operative and process orientated</li> <li>Ability to cope with large volumes of work</li> <li>Results driven and client orientated</li> <li>Honest and reliable team player</li> <li>Compliance driven and ability to take timely actions</li> <li>Attention to detail and ability to take initiative</li> </ul> <p><strong>CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS:</strong></p> <p>29th July, 2016</p> <p align="center"><strong><em>***THIS ROLE IS ONLY OPEN TO SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONALS.
