<p><strong>Quality Assurance Engineer&nbsp; - Safety Management Systems?</strong></p> <p><br /> Etihad Airways Engineering is the largest commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services provider in the Middle East. As a subsidiary of the Etihad Aviation Group, the company oers line, light and heavy maintenance services around the clock, including design, advanced composite repair, cabin refurbishment, component services and technical training, from its state-of-the-art facility adjacent to Abu Dhabi International Airport.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Specific Responsibilities </strong></p> <ol> <li>Plan and conduct audits to identify compliance risks and potential issues - support timely and accurate resolution</li> <li>Conduct investigations and produce comprehensive reports on maintenance related incidents, accidents and process errors - identify and evaluate causal factors to prevent recurrence</li> <li>Support development of the Safety Management System (SMS) - provide necessary expertise on own area of responsibility.</li> </ol> <p><br /> <strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (ICAO) or Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline,</li> <li>A proven aviation industry experience or other similarly heavily regulated industry,</li> <li>Proven experience&nbsp;in Quality Assurance and Safety function,</li> <li>Formal qualifications in: <ul> <li>Quality assurance and audit training - Lead Auditor level preferred</li> <li>Incident/ accident investigation</li> <li>Safety Management System</li> <li>Aviation regulations and international quality standards (Part 145, M, 66, AS9110B, ISO 9001, ISO31000).</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><br /> <strong>Essential Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Audit Planning &amp; execution</li> <li>Investigative techniques</li> <li>Root Cause Analysis</li> <li>Report writing</li> <li>Team working</li> <li>Customer service delivery</li> </ul> <p><strong>To apply, please click on the 'Apply' button.&nbsp;See your career take off!</strong></p> <p><strong>Apply before 24 August 2016</strong></p>
