Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Airframe)

<p>On behalf of our client, a world class international executive jet operation, we are recruiting an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Airframe) to be based at Cape Town International Airport, South Africa.</p> <p><strong>JOB PURPOSE:</strong></p> <p>The main objective of the position is to perform efficient and high standard maintenance as laid out in the SACAA CATS and CARS.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Aircraft/engine/component maintenance</li> <li>Manage and control workflow processes</li> <li>Control tools, equipment, parts and consumables</li> <li>Control subcontractors</li> <li>General house-keeping practices</li> <li>Carry out all additional tasks related to audit and planning processes</li> <li>Assist with all ad hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <p><strong><em><u>Educational:</u></em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Grade 12</li> <li>SACAA Licensed AME (Airframe, Category A &amp; C)</li> <li>Relevant Type/Course Ratings King Air 200, Premier or PC12 (preferable)</li> <li>Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li> </ul> <p><strong><em><u>Experience:</u></em></strong></p> <ul> <li>5 Years’ experience as a qualified AME on type</li> </ul> <p><strong><em><u>Other Requirements:</u></em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to work overtime and travelling (away base maintenance may be required)</li> <li>Valid drivers license and own reliable transport</li> <li>Valid passport</li> </ul> <p><strong><em><u>Personal Attributes:</u></em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>High levels of responsibility</li> <li>Professional approach towards allocated duties</li> <li>Self-disciplined and stress tolerant</li> <li>Systematic and well organized</li> <li>Ability to adapt (being flexible) to working conditions</li> <li>Ability to work independently and within a team</li> <li>Attention to detail and ability to take initiative</li> </ul> <p><strong>CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS:</strong></p> <p>15^th August 2016</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong><em>***THIS ROLE IS ONLY OPEN TO SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONALS.
