<p><strong>** Systems Engineer – Product Required! **</strong></p> <p>Are you a highly motivated and innovative individual? Send your CV in today to potentially secure a new exciting job opportunity with our client, who is offering a competitive salary!</p> <p>** This role is based in London **</p> <p> </p> <p>As the System Engineer your responsibilities will be;</p> <ul> <li>In all things, contribute to the logic and language of argumentation for or against particular product or core technology developments, while remaining a fair and unbiased broker in a project team who must consider market requirement match, strategic fit in the portfolio, strategic fit in the industry, complexity, cost and risk.</li> <li>Ability to focus on “study cases” looking at all aspects of a conceptual core product feature set or system architecture to present in a simple, structured and powerful way the proposed approach, challenges and solutions.</li> <li>Work with Product Managers and both internal and external Subject Matter Experts, including Space, Network, UT and Platform Development teams to solidify the conceptual requirements and plan for how they can be incorporated into an existing or new system design or development roadmaps.</li> <li>To structure, maintain and measure the compliance of core technology to the requirements of the business units, when set in the context of specific device implementations that use the core technology.</li> <li>Build and maintain relationships with the business unit experts such that system development becomes a collaborative process and ideas presented to a wider audience show increased quality and feasibility.</li> <li>Track industry trends for parallels that should be evaluated in order to stimulate additional value creation, including major technology developments that push our own development cycle.</li> <li>Support in the preparation of investment cases for the creation of innovation programmes and external technology collaboration with institutional bodies (e.g. ESA) or start-up incubators</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>To be considered for the role of Systems Engineer you must;</p> <ul> <li>Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant science or technology field with strong evidence of technical presentation and illustration.</li> <li>Superb analytical and presentation skills and the ability to bring them to bear on a new subject or requirement to rapidly identify key drivers, features, implementation choices and pitfalls.</li> <li><strong>Knowledge of a broad range of core communications technologies, including but not limited to System on Chips, radio modules, developer toolkits, APIs, embedded code development, IoT protocol stacks.</strong></li> <li>You will be able to communicate in market features and drivers terms with commercial colleagues including Business Unit and business development leads.</li> <li>Excellent self and team awareness skills to guide interactions to the most positive outcomes.</li> <li>Creative thinker and problem solver, willing to keep options open for as long as productive analysis is occurring, within timelines appropriate for the needs of the business.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>For more information on this excellent opportunity, please get in touch with your most recent CV copy today!</p> <p>Oaklands Global Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.</p>
