We care about our employees and clients and work towards long term relationships for mutual success.<br /><br />We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced<strong> Regional Manager&nbsp;</strong>to manage operations at the facility in&nbsp;<strong>Sydney International Airport</strong>.<br /><br />Reporting directly to the General Manager, the role provides leadership to a central team focused on driving operational excellence in service delivery and cost management.</p><p><br /><strong>Main role and responsibilities will include:</strong></p><p>Overseeing all day to day operations including, but not limited to, delivering a high level of customer service whilst managing costs, quality compliance and resource management. You will ensure that all operations are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with safety policies and procedures.</p><p>You will also take charge of:</p><ul> <li>Developing a strategic approach which leads to step change &amp; continuous improvement;</li><li>Bench-marking to identify process and performance gaps at a station level;</li><li>Developing client networks that result in additional Airline servicing opportunities;</li><li>Driving operational improvement plans</li></ul> <p><br /><strong>About You</strong></p><p>You will be an experienced maintenance engineer who has had several years' experience at a senior level in the aviation maintenance industry managing diverse teams in challenging environments. &nbsp;You will have a proven ability to manage and control the financial performance of an operation.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>You may be required to work flexible hours, including weekends and have the ability to travel within Australia and internationally if required.</p><p>To be successful you will:</p><ul> <li>Have a proven track record managing change, particularly relating to people and process</li><li>Be commercially astute with a keen eye for business growth opportunities</li><li>Display a depth of experience in industrial relations, human resources and operational analysis</li><li>Have excellent interpersonal skills to complement your aptitude for managing internal and external&nbsp;customer relations</li><li>Display a sound understanding of Australian and International regulatory requirements</li><li>Possess tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline</li></ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><p>In addition, you will:</p><ul> <li>Be eligible to hold Australian ASIC</li><li>Have the right to legally work in Australia</li></ul> <p>Highly Regarded</p><ul> <li>A CASA B1 or B2 license or equivalent</li><li>5 years Line Maintenance experience in wide body aircraft;</li><li>An excellent knowledge of line maintenance operations and requirements;</li><li>The possession of a valid state driver's license</li></ul> <p>If you are looking for your next challenge where you have the opportunity to make your mark within the organisation and play a key role in the business, please apply submitting your cover letter along with your resume.</p>
