About this role
<p>Resource Group has the pleasure of supporting our client, ExecuJet, in their search for an Operations Controller / Flight Dispatcher based in Cambridge, UK. The main purpose of this position is to oversee the setup, flight watch and safe completion of the companies flying programme by running supervision of the shift team, ensuring all operations tasks are fulfilled, AOC and company procedures are adhered to and communicating effectively with both internal and external clients.</p> <p>You would be joining a company that recognises that employees are their greatest asset and attracting excellent people, with the right skills, knowledge and experience will enable them to be the market leader in aviation. There is an open and collaborative approach to the way in which they operate and encourage employees to work in an ethical manner and live their values</p> <p><strong>Some key duties would include</strong>:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Operational management</strong> (including flight monitoring, maintaining watch of worldwide traffic flow and planning accordingly, making critical game changing decisions operationally and informing personnel accordingly)</li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Trip setup</strong> (including entering flights into Flightware, setting up all services for the flight, crew scheduling and safeguarding compliance)</li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Dispatch</strong> <strong>flights</strong> (global IFR/VFR, short range and ultra-long rage EROPS / ETOPS flight planning in compliance with multiple worldwide AOC’s, flight safety and flight planning laws)</li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Arranging additional insurance</strong> coverage for aircraft operating into and out of places/countries on coverage exclusion lists and have UN sanctions against them</li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Liaising</strong> externally with Owners, personal aids, Points of Contact, National Aviation Authorities – Globally and worldwide, VIP Service agents and security teams.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential experience or achievements include</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Portuguese Dispatch Licence</li> <li>Breadth of experience of working in a Dispatch department</li> <li>Complete knowledge of regulations and requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Working hours -</strong> 12.5 hour shifts (including hour unpaid lunch) 4 on 4 off rotation</li> <li>There is a relocation support of £1, 000 available for relevant candidates</li> </ul> <p><strong>If you are confident that your skills and experience are a match then please apply today! </strong></p> <p><b>Amelia Smith </b>on <strong>+44 (0) 7767 667 885</strong> or <strong>+44 (0) 1256 368 549</strong>, alternatively email any enquiries to <a href="mailto:amelia.smith@resourcegroup.co.uk" rel="no-follow">amelia.smith@resourcegroup.co.uk</a></p> <p>Only candidates who are successful will be contacted for a further interview. </p>
