<p>CAE Parc Aviation are accepting applications for the role of <strong>Line Maintenance Controller</strong>&nbsp;for our client airline based in Dublin, Ireland &nbsp;</p><p>Contract: Permanent Direct Contract</p><p>Competitive Salary on Offer</p><p>Based: Ireland</p><p><u><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></u></p><ul> <li>Proactively monitor and control the technical operation from within the MCC to ensure safety and operational integrity is maintained</li><li>Track and control aircraft defects and formulate plans to ensure&nbsp;timely rectification and that the lowest possible numbers of deferred defects&nbsp;are carried forward</li><li>Provide instant technical assistance and direction to flight crew and line engineers</li><li>Identify recurring defects and trends and construct rectification plans including in-depth troubleshooting for rectification</li><li>Liaise with support group and MRO for service recovery</li><li>Coordinate the recovery of AOG aircraft</li><li>Formulate and implement plans for service recovery after technical delays or service failures</li><li>Represent MCC&rsquo;s interests with other departments, aircraft manufacturers and other suppliers</li><li>Shall maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in his area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process</li></ul> <p><u><strong>Essential Skills &amp; Requirements:</strong></u></p><ul> <li>Hold an EASA Part 66 B1 <strong>and/or</strong> B2 Licence with a type rating on B757-200 <strong>and/or</strong> B737-300/400/500 with recent experience</li><li>Experience as a licensed aircraft engineer with broad exposure in defect trouble shooting on the&nbsp;B757-200 <strong>and/or </strong>B737-300/400/500</li><li>Proven experience in an operational, line maintenance or maintenance control environment</li><li>Sound analytical &amp; problem solving skills</li><li>Self-motivated, proactive, able to work / resolve issues independently and make sound decision under pressure</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate with all levels of parties throughout the organisation, both internal and external</li><li>Willing to work on shift and perform overnight duty</li></ul> <p>Interested candidates that meet all of the above required skills and experience, please submit your CV immediately.</p>
