We deliver Facility Management services to both Cleveland Clinic and Healthpoint Hospitals in Abu Dhabi, large-scale medical facilities in Saudi Arabia and a range of educational and commercial properties in the UAE. We also deliver postgraduate education to Officers in the Qatar Armed Forces through the Joaan Bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College in Doha.<br /> Focussing on our core values, and creating a positive environment for employees to thrive, we look forward to a bright future as we continue to grow with the region.</p> <p>Key purpose</p> <p>To conduct Air Traffic Engineering Maintenance and “On the Job Training” ( OJT) activities in a safe and expeditious manner in accordance with ATES Manual of air traffic engineering and in compliance with DCAA, GCAA applicable rules and regulations</p> <p>Structure and reporting relationship</p> <p>Provides operational plans for weeks ahead, and is required to manage multiple and/or conflicting activities </p> <p>Makes decisions in situations that fall outside established guidelines or where the choice among options is less obvious. </p> <p>Supervises, motivates and trains staff, ensures quality of work, utilization of staff, and achievement of work targets.</p> <p>Interfaces</p> <p>Interacts internally with:</p> <p>ATC</p> <p>Training</p> <p>Programme Delivery</p> <p>Interacts externally with:</p> <p>Dubai Airports</p> <p>Airlines</p> <p>Vendors</p> <p>RFFS</p> <p>DNATA</p> <p>Based on the specific requirement of the role</p> <p>Key accountabilities</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Conduct maintenance and OJT activities in accordance with ATES MATE and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations</p> <p>Conduct maintenance of CNS / ATM equipment at DXB / DWC in accordance with applicable standards, rules and regulations</p> <p>Conduct Level A and B scheduled and unsheduled maintenance according with the type of rating held and applicable regulations</p> <p>Conduct immediate low level adaptation application to equipment</p> <p>Develop and implement backup procedures when required</p> <p>Document all maintenance activities in accordance with the MATE, maintain accurate log keeping and reporting and</p> <p>Maintain an updated working knowledge of the technologies and equipments in use across DANS and their imppact on airport operations</p> <p>Contribute to reduction of maintenance hours through application of technology and continuous improvement of processes</p> <p>Conduct OJT activities, mentor and assist in the development of other shift personnel to enhance their knowledge and capability</p> <p>Promote innovative ideas, original developments, knowledge sharing and development among the team</p> <p>Adhere to DANS Safety and Quality Management System processes and procedures</p> <p>Deputise for Shift Team Leader in their absence</p> <p>Conduct work activities in a safe manner and in line with DANS Integrated Management System (DIMS) and and appropriate UAE GCAA civil aviation regulatory requirements</p> <p>Assist in other duties as required</p> <p>Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualifications</p> <p>Knowledge</p> <p>Degree / Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university</p> <p>Relevant licenses and certificates of competency that meet international or national regulatory standards</p> <p>Group Ratings in all four disciplines (Comms, Nav, Surveillance and data processing) and 10 Type ratings in relevant ATE disciplines</p> <p>Knowledge of local and international technical standards and regulations in accordance with CARs</p> <p>High level specialist knowledge in ATM</p> <p>Fluency in written and spoken English is essential</p> <p>Skills</p> <p>Attention to detail and analytical skills</p> <p>Problem solving and decision making</p> <p>Excellent communication and organisational skills</p> <p>An ability to work and make correct decisions under stress</p> <p>Computer literacy with MS office packages skills</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>Minimum 5 years airfield experience of Comms, Navigation, Surveillance and data processing systems.
