Within our land systems capability, we have designed, manufactured, delivered and supported more than 5000 tactical shelters in over 200 different configurations.</p> <p>Significant investment in ATC staff training is ongoing as is the replacement project for ATC navigation aids. We anticipate the replacement of PSR, MSSR, instrument landing systems and other key navigation equipment to be completed and operational within 2 years.</p> <p><strong>Key Tasks:</strong></p> <p><strong>Controlling:</strong> Provide safe expeditious ATC services to all aircraft operating under Instrument & Visual flights rules when arriving, departing or operating in the vicinity of Cambridge Airport, de-conflict aircraft from vehicles and other obstructions on the ground while operating at all times within the limitations of their ATC license.</p> <p><strong>Leadership:</strong> Utilise proven leadership skills and ability as a self-starter to inspire members of the ATS team to provide safe, expeditious & high quality ATS services to all Airport users.</p> <p>Lead by example & proactively engage with ATS management & the ATS team to identify potential safety issues, take reporting action and provide potential solutions thereby assuring the on-going safety of the ATS operation. Adopt a process of continuous improvement across all aspects of the ATS operation</p> <p><strong>People, Team work and Training:</strong> Integrate and operate in harmony with all members of the ATS team to build a positive team ethos and assure the on-going safety of ATS operations. Proactively engage with management and other ATS staff taking ownership of key tasks while cooperating with other team members to ensure that all unit operating documentation, processes and procedures are current, relevant to the operation and maintained to the highest standard</p> <p><strong>Service Delivery:</strong> Enable the expeditious movement of all aircraft and thereby the commercial operation of the Airport. Work effectively and efficiently as part of the ATS team to achieve Company objectives. Uses detailed knowledge across ALL key work categories to deliver high quality, safe, efficient and cost effective ATS delivery. Must be able to see the delivery of the “big picture” and support the delivery of the Airport Charter.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p> <p><strong>Personal Qualities: </strong>The successful candidate will be proven team player who is able to integrate quickly and effectively with all other members of the team.</p> <p>It is expected that the successful candidate will be an experienced ATCO that has the background and drive to validate quickly.</p> <p>They will have a positive can do attitude and wills see personal and professional improvement of themselves and the unit as a natural course of action and positively engage and be willing to take a lead in that process.</p> <p><u><strong>Key Skills/Competencies:</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>Proven validated ATCO</li> <li>Proven training skills</li> <li>Successful development and implementation of ATCO training schemes</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Led or been involved in the development and implementation of an Aviation Safety Management System</li> <li>Been involved in the delivery of ATS projects.</li> <li>Experienced ATS auditor</li> </ul> <p><u><strong>Education/Qualifications:</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>UK CAA license must include ADI, APP and APS rating</li> <li>Consideration will be given to candidates with the appropriate drive and ambition to join our in house training scheme and be sponsored for a bonded APS course.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have held valid ADI, APP & APS ratings for at least 5 years</li> <li>An examiner/ Assessor/ Verifier qualification</li> <li>An experienced OJTI and/ or unit training officer and/or ATS college training background</li> <li>Qualified ATS auditor</li> <li>UK Met rating</li> </ul> <p><strong>ABOUT THE REWARDS</strong></p> <p>Marshall ADG offers employees an attractive reward package.
