<p><strong><u>Duties &amp; Responsibilities </u>:</strong></p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage the Dataset section while absence of the Dataset Team Leader</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Support the Dataset Manager</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Liaise between ATC operation, ANS Management and system suppliers through the Dataset Team Leader</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Identification and reporting of safety risks in accordance with the Safety Management System</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide technical analysis for operational safety issues as and when required</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop and ensure the implementation of the ATM systems Dataset configuration management according to applicable regulations and standards</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Responsible to prepare the official dataset release for ATM Data distribution</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintain a thorough operational knowledge and understanding of the equipment and systems used for the provision of air traffic services at ADAC Airports</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide operational feedback to management on proposed procedures and system changes</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Participate in workshop and seminar regarding new projects and technology development</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide specialized assistance to other departments with the compiling of specifications evaluation of tender, review of functional design specifications, factory acceptance testing, installation, commissioning and site acceptance of equipment and systems</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Investigate and research performance shortcomings in ATM systems and make recommendations with regard to improvements</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Draft useful, informative and concise technical reports on systems and equipment as requested and proactively when the need arises</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop testing methods for the effective evaluation of system and equipment performance.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure that any modification, improvement or updates in the Dataset shall be tested in the simulator prior to implementation in the Operational environment.&nbsp; Research and develop effective tools to support the collective Dataset duties and activities.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Qualification &amp; Experience </u>:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Technical Engineering Degree or Higher Diploma in relevant discipline</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Certified CNS apprenticeship or equivalent training</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 7 years experience in software development and/or&nbsp; technical support of safety critical ATC Automation systems</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Expert level proficiency in the use and operation of Eurocat X Dataset</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Expert level proficiency in the use and operation of LINUX &amp; Configuration of Networks</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
