Flight Co-ordinator

<p>On behalf of our long-standing client, a leading global business aviation organisation, we are searching for <strong>Flight Co-ordinators </strong>to join their team located in Cambridge on a permanent basis.&nbsp;</p> <p>The <strong>Flight Co-ordinators</strong> play a vital role in support of the Duty Dispatcher. Full co-ordination of services, including ground handling, permits, fuel and customs arrangements. Due to the intensive, high work load environment, this would suit an individual with a fast and accurate work pace.</p> <p>You would be joining a company that&nbsp;recognises that employees are their&nbsp;greatest asset and attracting excellent people, with the right skills, knowledge and experience will enable them&nbsp;to be the market leader in aviation. &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;<strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Dispatch </strong>Reading FIR/Enroute and Notams during preparation and final flight dispatch. Weather monitoring using METAT and TAF. Basic IFR/VFR Flight Planning</li> <li><strong>Trip setup</strong> (including entering flights into Flightware, setting up all services for the flight, contacting handling agents and liaising with crews</li> <li><strong>Administration </strong>Co-ordination with airports, authorities and various service providers. Arranging additional insurance coverage for destinations with UN sanctions</li> <li><strong>General </strong>Maintaining good customer service standards. Ensuring crew are updated on slots.
