About this role

<p><strong>Spectrum Aviation Personnel</strong>, on behalf of our client airline&nbsp;<strong>Cargolux</strong>, are currently seeking applications from qualified and experienced B747-400 First Officers for a permanent position with the airline. This is an excellent&nbsp;opportunity to join a major international cargo airline as it increases its fleet of B747-800 aircraft and also its route network. As this position will be based in Luxembourg all applicants must hold an EU or EEA passport and also an EASA CPL or EASA ATPL with B747-400 rating.</p> <p>Before commencing the application and selection procedure all applicants&nbsp;must meet the following&nbsp;minimum qualifications and experience:</p> <p><strong>B747-400 First Officer</strong></p> <p><strong>Flying Experience (Min Hrs): 2000hours*</strong></p> <p><strong>Flying Time on Type (B747-400 or B747-800): 500hours</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be a holder of a current EASA Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating;</li> <li>Valid and Current Pilot License (EASA) and Medical Class 1;</li> <li>Applicants must be current and qualified on B747-400 aircraft’</li> <li>Preference will be given to candidates with B747-800 experience</li> <li>Last proficiency check within six (6) months; last date of flight within six (6) months; and<br /> Minimum ICAO Level Four English</li> <li>Full second level school graduation (A-level or equivalent)</li> <li>Ability to pass successfully a security background check</li> <li>Full EU or EEA Passport</li> <li>Unrestricted rights for international travel</li> </ul> <p>* Total time to include at least<br /> - A minimum of 1500 hours on multi-pilot turbo-jet aeroplane certificated to the standards of CS-25/FAR-25 or equivalent or<br /> - A minimum of 1500 hours on a multi-pilot turbo-prop aeroplane having a maximum certificated take-off mass of not less than 10000 kg or a certificated passenger seating configuration of more than 19 passengers</p> <p>If you meet ALL of the above qualifications and experience Darren and Shane very much look forward to discussing this position with you in greater detail.
