Aircraft Refueller

<p>Zenon are currently searching for a number of experienced Aircraft Refuellers to join a busy airport in the South East of England.&nbsp;</p> <p>Benefits:&nbsp;<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Competitive Salary&nbsp;<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Shift Rotation of 4 days on 4 days off&nbsp;</p> <p>Main Accountability will include:</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Carrying out aircraft refuelling and driving bowser vehicles within a busy airport environment&nbsp;<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Adhering to industry and company safety operating procedures at all times whilst carrying out re-fuelling duties.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ensuring that aircraft are refuelled on time for their scheduled departures and that minimal disruption is caused by the refuelling.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Liaising with customers, airlines and handling agents for fuel requirements.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Carrying out aircraft re-fuelling services to regulation and Company standard.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Working closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure the smooth running of the fuelling operation on a day to day basis.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ensuring all provisions of Health &amp; Safety legislation and any other legislation and regulations governing the work of staff are fully complied with.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of any accidents or potential risks&nbsp;<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ensuring equipment is suitably fuelled and serviced accordingly.&nbsp;</p> <p>Key Skills include:</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Previous experience as an Aircraft Refueller is essential&nbsp;<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;HGV Level 1 License would be highly advantageous.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Possess good knowledge of Health &amp; Safety in the workplace.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Must be able to maintain high levels of awareness in relation to Health and Safety, security and the environment.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Pro-active and able to forward plan.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Have the ability to prioritise work load and work under pressure.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Have a calculative approach to problem solving.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Be able to think logically.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Be able to communicate with people of different levels.</p> <p>In the ever changing and dynamic market place, Zenon Aviation knows that the support and care we provide to our Refuellers is vital in assisting you in achieving your career aspirations.
