Manager Air Traffic Services

<p>To provide effective management to all Air Traffic Services (ATS) staff at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport ensuring that the provision of ATS is carried out safely, and efficiently in accordance with International (ICAO), National (GCAA) and GAL regulations and instructions. To liaise and provide essential subject matter expertise to the Ras Al Khaimah Airport CEO, his nominated deputy and other airport agencies as required, ensuring ATS is an integral part of the Ras Al Khaimah Airport management team. Additionally, liaise with GAL LLC ATS Project Managers, ATC Managers, Standards &amp; Procedures and Assurance &amp; Licensing HQ staffs on a regular basis in order to remain fully integrated into GAL ATS management and facilitate HQ operational oversight of the delivery of ATS at Ras Al Khaimah.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Postholder shall hold the following ratings in their licence; Aerodrome Control Instrument, Approach Radar Control and Approach Non Radar Control and have validated the ratings accordingly and provide evidence that they have exercised the validated ratings within the last 12 months in a unit whose traffic levels are defined as low or preferably medium as per GCAA CAR Part VIII.</p> <p>A minimum of 10-15 years within a civil Air Traffic Control environment, with at least 3 years experience in a Deputy Manager ATS (Deputy SATCO) position.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent knowledge of ICAO regulations and their applicability with regard to the provision of Air Traffic Services in a civilian environment.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Previous experience of liaison with a National or International ATS regulator.&nbsp;&nbsp; Demonstrate project management experience connected to the provision of Air Traffic Services (a Prince 2 or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential).&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Previous ATS Examiner experience would be beneficial.</p>
