About this role

<p><strong>Sales &amp; Marketing Associate </strong></p> <p><strong>Purpose:</strong></p> <p>This is a development role which will involve broad exposure to the activities of the Sales &amp; Marketing team as directed by the SVP Portfolio and/or SVP Volume. By supporting the team and its leaders, the associate will have the opportunity to progress rapidly into a key role in the company's commercial activity.</p> <p><strong>Key Result Areas</strong></p> <p>- Collection and analysis of market data.</p> <p>- Planning and execution of asset re-marketing globally in support of the VP Short Term Leasing and as directed by the SVP Portfolio.</p> <p>- Identification, analysis and reporting of re-marketing opportunities.</p> <p>- Development of new business opportunities in the assigned region.</p> <p>- Interfacing with airline technical, procurement and finance departments and development of customer relationships.</p> <p>- Coordination and communication with other disciplines within the company in the preparation of customer proposals and during the execution of leases.</p> <p>- Preparation of commercial term sheets and customer proposals for senior management review.</p> <p>- Management of customer issues and participation in problem solving related to existing leases.</p> <p>- Supporting and ultimately leading deal teams in the negotiation of customer transactions.</p> <p>- Supporting corporate initiatives related to web based marketing, event planning, advertising and coordination of industry conference budget.</p> <p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p> <p><strong>Essential</strong></p> <p>- Bachelor's degree in a business discipline, aeronautical engineering, recognised aviation technical qualification or equivalent experience.</p> <p>- Demonstrable understanding of leasing / finance.</p> <p>- Willingness to travel extensively at short notice.</p> <p>- Willing to work out of an office based in Shannon, Ireland or Plymouth, MA.</p> <p><strong>Desired</strong></p> <p>- Experience in an aviation or engine related business.</p> <p>- Experience negotiating and managing transactions from origination through closure.</p> <p>- Financial Skills - experience with operating lease structures.</p> <p>- Fluency in a 2nd language an advantage.</p> <p><strong>Competencies</strong></p> <p>- Customer focused.</p> <p>- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.</p> <p>- Capacity to build negotiation and effective influencing skills.</p> <p>- Excellent decision-making skills.</p> <p>- Problem solving, analytical and financial skills.</p> <p>- Ability to work in a team environment.</p> <p>- Ability to work independently, self-motivated with capacity to use own initiative.</p> <p>- Full driving licence and current passport with flexibility to travel globally</p> <p>Send us your CV by clicking on the 'Apply' button.</p>
