The Security Department operates 365 days a year and&nbsp; Security Officers are required to work a shift pattern.&nbsp;</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Uniform fully provided</li> <li>Onsite parking</li> <li>Happy Birthday Day</li> <li>Annual Leave Purchase Scheme</li> <li>Company Rewards Card</li> <li>Contributory Pension scheme</li> <li>Contributory Cash Healthcare Plan</li> <li>Competitive salary</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Conducting aviation security procedures as per your Ground Security Officer training (GSO)</li> <li>Operation of equipment necessary to the above task, such as xray equipment, ETDE (full ongoing training will be given)</li> <li>Conducting searches on passengers, staff, luggage, vehicles, Company visitors as necessary.</li> <li>Dealing with the surrendering of prohibited items</li> <li>Patrols of the company property as well as looking for any damage to the building so it can be reported</li> <li>Ensuring that passengers do not enter any&nbsp;unauthorized access parts of the airport by refusing entry and responding to calls that there has been a breach of security</li> <li>Make accurate reports on any problems such as luggage/items surrendered, persons detained, trespassing and damages to company or Customer property</li> <li>Inspect and adjust any security equipment and report any faults accordingly</li> <li>Assisting in the evacuation of passengers in emergency situations</li> <li>Ensure the security of property, buildings, staff and customers whilst on Company’s site.</li> <li>Accurate Maintenance of Security logs.</li> <li>Assist where required with fire awareness and certification issues i.e. evacuation procedures, tests to maintain standards required for Health and Safety purposes.</li> <li>Day to day administration and security activities as required adhering to the Company and departmental procedures</li> <li>Liaison with all Departmental Managers to promote awareness and importance of security.</li> <li>Pro-active assistance to other Departments which will include assisting with a presence at reception area when required, assisting as a front of house concierge and assistance in basic ramp duties (full training will be given).</li> <li>Attend other Company locations and perform other duties as delegated by the Base Manager or Security Manager</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience required:</strong></p> <p>The responsibilities of this role demand that the successful candidate is currently working within an Aviation Security environment and holds the following valid certificates / training;</p> <ul> <li>NASP, ‘Ground Security Officer’ (GSO) formally level 1 or Ground Security Supervisor (GSS), formally level 2</li> <li>NXCT ‘National X-ray &nbsp;competency test’ - Cabin</li> <li>NXCT ‘National X-ray&nbsp; competency test’ – Hold</li> <li>CTC cleared</li> <li>Remain operational by successfully passing mandatory recurrent training</li> <li>Candidates will be required to pass a standard medical and test to obtain airside driving license within probation period</li> </ul> <p>Why Choose Zenon Aviation?</p> <p>In the ever changing and dynamic market place, Zenon Aviation knows that the support and care we provide to candidates is vital in assisting you in achieving your career aspirations.
