Management Accountant - Oaklands Global

<p>Oaklands Global are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join a growing company in Bournemouth, if you meet the criteria below, please apply now.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>•Preparation of accurate and timely financial and management reports, to include, but not limited to:<br /> •Annual Budget and periodic Forecasts<br /> •Monthly management accounts<br /> •Monthly and Quarterly reporting packs in line with company and group requirements<br /> •Financial, commercial and project analysis to support the business<br /> •Annual audit files and statutory accounts<br /> •Implementing effective controls, business performance measures and financial planning<br /> •Strong financial accounting skills to oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliation preparation<br /> •Ensure transactions are correctly posted within the balance sheet and P&amp;L’s in accordance with the correct accounting treatment and standards<br /> •Business partnering to ensure key business drivers are understood by the wider business and actions taken to improve business performance<br /> •Assist the Financial Controller with month-end and year-end close processes<br /> •Involvement in the audit process, delegating tasks as needed to the wider team<br /> •Preparation of Corporation tax schedules and VAT returns</p> <p>Individual Requirements:</p> <p>•Qualified Accountant – ACA, CIMA, ACCA<br /> •A number of years post qualification experience, it is likely the person will be working in a similar role currently<br /> •Technically strong, with a high level of financial and management accounting expertise essential<br /> •Strong analysis skills and the tenacity to get to the answers<br /> •Fully conversant with UK GAAP, IFRS knowledge desirable<br /> •Experience of strong controls while providing commercial and financial support to a senior management team<br /> •Ability to quickly adapt to a complex operating environment and engender confidence through your involvement with department heads, senior management and financial staff</p> <p>Why work with Oaklands Global?</p> <p>Oaklands Global is a supplier of choice for leading Aviation &amp; Aerospace Companies worldwide.
