ANS are delighted to be recruiting for a number of key senior positions; successful candidates will be joining ANS at a very exciting time in our growth and will be key contributors to our future success.</p> <p><u><strong>GENERAL MANAGER, AIR TRAFFIC SERVICES (GATWICK) – REF: GMLGW</strong></u></p> <p>This critical, senior role is the heart of the business and will be instrumental in achieving the goals of the company. Its prime purpose is to deliver excellence in operational air traffic services at the busiest single runway airport in the world. The execution of this role is, therefore, complex, challenging, exciting, demanding and fulfilling.</p> <p>Working directly and proactively with the airport operator, the General Manager will own the service contract ensuring all commercial and operational obligations are met; providing a customer centric service that focus’s on continuous and mutual improvement. In partnership with the Senior Management Team the General Manager will develop and implement strategic plans for the operation at Gatwick that both enhance and protect our service standards and help shape the future requirements of the customer. The General Manager reports directly to the Managing Director and is responsible for the leadership of our highly capable team of Air Traffic Controllers and Air Traffic Service Assistants.</p> <p>Applicants should be experienced ATS professionals, or equivalent, with senior managerial experience of a challenging ATC/aviation operation. Experience will have included the leadership of medium to large unionised teams and a proven record of development within ATM/aviation. Direct commercial experience with the customer and successful delivery of contractual requirements is also essential.
