About this role
<p>Tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Generation of detailed definition of data-package of an hydraulic actuation system for Ariane 6</li> <li>Dimensioning of (stress-wise) simple mechanical components (via dimensioning books etc)</li> <li>Dimensioning of hydraulic systems in terms of pressure classes, flows, pressure drops etc.</li> <li>Give inputs and monitor drafters for 2D drawing issuing</li> <li>Review, challenge the results given by FEM team<br /> </li> </ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor/Master degree in engineering, aerospace, mechanical or equal qualification</li> <li>Ideally 5 year’s work experience as Hydraulic Engineer within aviation industry. However work experience from other branch (e.g. automotive) will also be accepted.</li> <li>Ability to understand the inner workings of the common hydraulic components (e.g. servo-valves, check valves, relief vales, pumps etc.)</li> <li>Familar with mechanical computation</li> <li>Good knowledge in FEM method & Catia V5</li> <li>Good team player, ability to support each other & to compromise</li> <li>Ability to see things as a whole and relevant connections</li> <li>High level of conflict resolution skills, influencing skills and assertiveness</li> <li>Fluent in English</li> </ul>
