We expertly match the skills and talents of aviation personnel worldwide with the specialised demands of a fast growing aviation industry.</p><p>On behalf of our Aviation Client we have an exciting job opportunity for a Flight Training Centre Manager in their ab-initio pilot training school in Damman, Saudi Arabia. Applicants should have extensive experience in ab-initio flight training and a strong track record of running a P&amp;L in a competitive, multi-national environment. Startup experience is preferred.</p><p>The Center Manager is responsible for managing the operations, resources and budget of a Flight Training Organization (FTO) site, balancing cost efficiency and growth initiatives, whilst delivering safe and high-quality flight training. This position is required to oversee the full remit of management of the flight school keeping in mind the productivity and profitability in conjunction with delivering quality training, upholding the customer experience and the safety of cadets and staff. You will ensure this is done through strong team work, close collaboration with the global FTO network and corporate departments, and provides leadership by example to staff and customers. The Center Manager will report directly to the FTO Operations Leader and the Board of Directors when applicable</p><p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong> :</p><p><strong>Leadership</strong> - Supervise, manage and coach the Management Team of the FTO, inspiring leadership agility, promoting teamwork and driving performance</p><p><strong>Operations</strong>: Oversee the full operational remit to drive and improve efficiently in all areas of the FTO including productivity, quality and safety in the best possible way</p><p><strong>Finance</strong>: Have the responsibility to direct the FTO within the scope of the agreed budget and meet the budgeted targets (producitivity, SOI &amp; cost)</p><p><strong>Safety &amp; Quality</strong>: Responsible for promotion and execution of the Safety Management System and Quality system and for the integration of safe behavior and quality management in everyday operation</p><p><strong>Customers</strong>: Establish and maintain a customer focused mindset to ensure delivery of high levels of customer satisfaction</p><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul> <li>Results Driven</li><li>Customer focused</li><li>Collaborates Globally</li><li>Innovative Mindset</li><li>Leads with Agility</li></ul> <p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul> <li>Graduate in an operational, manufacturing, technical or aviation business discipline or equivalent experience</li><li>Minimum of 5 - 10 years' experience in managing a business with budget responsibility in a commercial environment</li><li>Minimum of 5- 10 years' experience in managing a team of professionals</li><li>Experience in airline operations and/or<strong> flight training organization</strong> is desirable</li><li>Knowledge of local aviation regulations is desirable</li></ul> <p>The ideal Candidate will have previous experience of managing a Flight Training Organisation site in a previous role.
