<p>Zenon Recruitment is looking for an experienced Ground Operations Manager to work permanently with an ambitious Regional Airline to be based in West of Europe.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent salary</li> <li>Company pension</li> <li>Opportunity to grow within this airline with really ambitious plans.</li> </ul> <p>Main Duties and Responsibilities:-</p> <ul> <li>Manage the airline’s ground handling suppliers, partners and rest of airport companies at the nominated base(s) or satellite airports.</li> <li>Deliver targeted performance outcomes in all areas of safety, compliance, cost control and operational performance.</li> <li>Supervising and checking the airline standards are respected and followed all the time.</li> <li>Manage cost in line with budget and deliver ever lower cost operational solutions and arrangements with the growth of the airline, achieving volume based discounts. Identify all new opportunities for operational improvement and/or cost savings in the nominated area of responsibility.</li> <li>Contribution to preparation of standard ground handling agreement templates</li> <li>Performing audits and management of other GOMs in audit planning, reporting and follow-up.</li> <li>Management of trainings and training schedule of GOMs</li> <li>Participation in internal and external quality/compliance related cross-functional projects,</li> <li>Involvement in bird & wildlife management monitoring,</li> <li>Provision of support to OCC in management of disrupted flights and relevant customer care.</li> <li>Support the Ground Operations Team in activities across the network as required General administration and reporting duties.</li> </ul> <p>Minimum Skills and Experience:-</p> <ul> <li>At least 3 years’ experience within airport/ground management handling operations, from the passenger handling side</li> <li>Experienced with working to deliver company’s KPIs</li> <li>Able to perform all aspects of Ground and Cargo Operations including Loadmaster, handling hazardous materials, de-icing, fueling, catering, security, etc.</li> <li>Ability to organize and perform multiple assignments in high stress environment</li> <li>Ability to interact, communicate and maintain relationships with all levels of management and external partners.</li> <li>Proven ability to lead and manage the activities of a diverse and work force</li> <li>Skilled problem solver with leadership qualities</li> <li>Excellent communication, decision and management skills</li> <li>College degree preferred or equivalent experience.</li> </ul> <p>Why Choose Zenon Aviation?</p> <p>In the ever changing and dynamic market place, Zenon Aviation knows that the support and care we provide to candidates is vital in assisting you in achieving your career aspirations.
