On behalf of our innovative client we are currently seeking a <strong>Mechanical Systems Specialist</strong> to be based in Japan on a 1 year contract basis.</p> <p>Technological ambition is key to succeed in this role. You will be joining a leading organisation that respects its clients and strives to drive their employees further in their career.</p> <p>As a<strong> Mechanical Systems Specialist </strong>your tasks will include but not limited to;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Evaluate the current aircraft design with respect to compliance including those related to the airworthiness regulations of JCAB/FAA and EASA</li> <li>Coordinating integration of design changes originated from requirements, analysis, testing etc</li> <li>Review and validation of the requirements for the Pilot Controls and Horizontal Stabilizer Trim System</li> <li>Providing expertise to assist in resolving the mechanical system performance during Rig testing, and Ground and Flight testing</li> <li>Leading verification and showing of compliance activities</li> <li>Managing the technical requirements of contracts</li> <li>Preparation and review of certification documentation for the Pilot Controls and Horizontal Stabilizer Trim System mechanical design</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Requirements: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Hold an engineering degree specialised in Mechanical or Aerospace</li> <li>10+ years of experience with aircraft Pilot Controls and Horizontal Stabilizer Trim System</li> <li>Knowledge of civil aircraft Pat 25 regulations and aerospace practices</li> <li>Verification and Validation experience including knowledge of ARP4754 and use of IBM DOORS</li> <li>System rig testing, Aircraft ground and flight test experience</li> <li>Knowledge and experience with equipment qualification in accordance with DO160</li> </ul> <p>If you are interested in this job opportunity and are either based in Japan or are willing to relocate then please contact Natasha Rawlings for an initial, confidential discussion.</p> <p><strong>A little about us…</strong></p> <p>Resource Group is a recognised global leader and trusted provider of resourcing and recruitment services with operations worldwide.
