Initially, an independent carrier, Air Chang’an merged with Hainan Airlines in 2000 and became a modern developing airline. Since the first Boeing 737-400 of Air Chang'an had been put into operation on 1 July 2002, it has been grown an airline of 32 domestic routes with <strong>11 B737NGs in operation</strong>.
